# Getting Started

Welcome to AI Wuxiaworld, an AI-powered interactive wuxia narrative platform.

## What is AI Wuxiaworld?

AI Wuxiaworld combines classic Chinese martial arts fiction (武侠小说) with cutting-edge AI technology. Instead of passively reading a story, you make choices that shape the narrative in real-time.

The AI generates story responses based on your decisions, while RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) retrieves source context to help the output stay closer to the original novel's world. It cannot guarantee perfect consistency in every response.

## Creating an Account

1. Click **Sign in** in the top-right corner
2. Choose **Sign up** to create a new account
3. Enter your email, username, and password
4. You're ready to play — new accounts receive a **welcome grant** of shared-wallet Ink Drops (墨滴) to start adventuring.

## Starting Your First Game

1. Browse available games from the **Games** page
2. Select a game that interests you
3. Choose a game mode:
   - **Reforge (改命模式)** — play as the canonical hero and defy fate; the game tracks your deviation from the original.
   - **Challenge (挑战模式)** — an original character with permadeath, chasing a goal of your own.
4. Click **Play** to begin your adventure

## Ink Drops (墨滴)

Each successful turn costs **2 ink drops**, and the opening of every story is free. Ink drops never expire and are shared across ai-Xworld products. When you run low, refill on the **Pricing** page (top up via card, crypto, or Alipay).

On **Account & Usage**, spend defaults to Wuxiaworld turns only; switch to **All products** to reconcile other changes to the shared balance. Top-ups and grants are shared-wallet records, while model-token usage remains Wuxiaworld-only.

## Understanding the Interface

Once in-game, you'll see:

- **Narrative panel** — the AI-generated story text
- **Choice buttons** — actions you can take each turn, or type your own
- **🎲 Dice of Fate** — roll a wild-but-canon action when you're unsure
- **本章气数** — the current chapter's pacing budget
- **Stats panel** — your character's attributes and inventory
- **Header icons** — Ink balance, save game, comments, token usage

The **Reforge Board** is not open yet. When it launches, eligibility and ranking rules will be shown on the board itself.
