# Dice of Fate & Chapter Pacing

Two big additions to how the story moves.

## 🎲 Dice of Fate (天命骰)

Not sure what to do? Roll the **Dice of Fate** — the button beside Send. The game casts a wild, unpredictable (but still canon) action for you and plays it out. The heavens decide; you live with the consequences.

## ✍️ Write your own actions

You're no longer limited to the offered choices. **Type any action in your own words** and the AI will weave it into the story — priced fairly by how big a move it is.

## ⏳ Chapter pacing (本章气数)

Each chapter now carries a pacing budget shown as **本章气数**. Bold, time-skipping moves (闭关三个月 — "seclude for three months") spend more of it and carry the story forward; small beats spend less. When a chapter's 气数 runs out, the story advances with a transition scene — so your run keeps its momentum instead of stalling.
